We encourage you to register and book your accommodations well in advance. The Global Minor Use Summit IV will take place at the hotel NH Collection Madrid Eurobuilding, located at Padre Damián, 23, 28036 Madrid, Spain. The hotel is located near Cuzco metro station, 4 kilometers from Sol (the centre of Madrid), the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium is a short walk away, and in the surrounding areas you can find the Plaza de Cibeles or La Castellana avenue. The NH Collection Madrid Eurobuilding hotel is a stylish retreat in the city’s financial district. Re-opened in September 2014; it’s considered one of the best hotels in Europe for business or leisure, and is also home to the only three Michelin starred restaurant in Madrid, DiverXO.

TRAVEL INFORMATION

The Global Minor Use Summit is excited to host our event in Madrid, Spain. To ensure a pleasant travel and event experience, please review Madrid’s Travel Guide for pre-planning travel information.

It is each traveler’s responsibility to ensure they meet requirements for entry to Spain (as well as entry/exit requirements for other countries they may travel through). Spain does not have any requirements for proof of COVID-19 vaccination or restrictions. Please remember it is recommended not to travel if you have symptoms compatible with COVID-19 (fever, breathing difficulty, cough…). Stay at home/accommodation until these symptoms improve or disappear.

GETTING TO THE HOTEL & AROUND MADRID

Madrid-Barajas Airport (code IATA: MAD, code ICAO: LEMD) receives all international flights arriving in Madrid. It is located just 12 kilometers northeast of the capital.

From the airport

Taxi: It’s a 20-30 minutes trip and is around €30.
Aerobus shuttle: Drops off at Atocha, Cibeles (night) and O’Donell-Doctor Esquerdo to Airport T1,T2 and T4 and costs 5€.

Subway: Take L8 from airport to Mar de Cristal. Disembark at the Colombia station. From there you can walk ten minutes to the hotel. (Approximately 38 min).

If you are in the city for a few days buy a T-10, Multi-person card for 10 journeys, (€12,20). It’s cheaper than a single ticket (1,50€).

From the train station

From Chamartin Station: you may take Metro Line 10 direct to Cuzco station and walk five minutes to the hotel.

From Atocha Station: you may take a train to Nuevos Ministerios station where you will transfer to Metro Line 10. Disembark at the Cuzco station and walk to the hotel.
Closest metro station: Cuzco (L10).
