The Minor Use Foundation successfully convened the Stakeholder Consultation for Specialty Crop Protection on 9 October 2025 in New Delhi, India. This important consultation brought together representatives from government, industry, research institutions, and international organizations to discuss critical challenges and opportunities for Asia’s specialty crop sector. The meeting highlighted current Foundation initiatives, identified national priorities, and fostered collaboration to strengthen pesticide management, minor use registration, and compliance with international standards.

Workshop: LATAM Regional Dialogue on Results of the 2025 Global Minor Use Priority Setting Process
The Foundation held a full day workshop on Monday, July 28 to present the results at the global and Latin America region levels and validate them with representatives of the participating countries in the region, establishing a preliminary work plan for the coming years. The workshop was held in partnership with the Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil (CNA) and Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) and in conjunction with the international workshop “Rural Pharmacy: Advances, Challenges, and Priorities for Minor Crops” that took place at CNA headquarters.
